I am a writer. I grew up in North Wales and graduated from York St John University with a specialist degree in English Literature with Creative Writing, where I was mentored by JT Welsch. I now live in Cheshire, in Northwest England, with my cat Idgie.
I’m a poet and writer whose work has appeared in magazines, journals and anthologies. My influences include Mary Oliver, Elizabeth Bishop, Jackie Kay, and John Berryman, as well as Patricia Highsmith, Sarah Waters, and Sarah Winman.
Alongside my creative writing, I also have fourteen years of professional copywriting and content marketing experience across charity, agency, and commercial sectors. I’m available for copywriting and content commissions.
